Claim a listing

Is Sunny M Specialty Coffee & Tea yours?

Claiming tells me you are the one behind the counter. From then on I treat what you send me as the source rather than as a tip, the page carries a note saying the details came from the business, and I stop guessing at your hours from whatever the internet last said. It is free. There is nothing to sign up for and nobody will ring you about advertising.

Tell me who you are

I am not going to ask you for a business license. A name, a way to reach you, and one detail only somebody who works there would know is usually enough. If I still have doubts, I ring the number on the listing and ask for you.

An address at the business helps. A personal one is fine too, it just takes me a little longer to confirm.

What needs changing?

If nothing is wrong and you only want the page marked as yours, write that and I will do it.

Claiming means you are the owner or are acting for them. See the terms and the privacy policy.

What a claim does

Your corrections jump the queue. Hours, phone, address, the description: you are the source, so I take your word over a field I found somewhere else.
The page is marked as claimed. Readers can see the details came from the business and not from a data feed, which matters more than most owners expect.
You hear from me before big changes. If I am about to move the listing to a different category or drop something from it, I email you first instead of doing it quietly.
It is still free. There is no upsell after this, no account to create and no invoice later.

What it does not do

Claiming does not hand you the page, it does not move you up any list, and it does not give you editorial control over a guide that mentions the business. I write what I think and I keep publishing what is accurate. You can tell me I am wrong, and sometimes you will be right.

If you would rather the listing came down entirely, say so in the message. I take it down and I do not ask why.

This form covers one listing

This form is attached to Sunny M Specialty Coffee & Tea and nothing else. If that is not your business, find the right page before you send anything. A claim on the wrong listing slows both of them down.
