West Cambie covers the part of north Richmond between No. 3 and No. 4 Roads, running from Alderbridge Way up to Cambie Road. The ground here is changing faster than in most of the city: townhouse and mid-rise development now sits directly beside long-standing light industry, and the Aberdeen retail edge presses in from the No. 3 Road side. A single street can carry new housing, an older warehouse frontage and a row of shops along its length.

Cambie Road gives the neighborhood its most visible commercial frontage, a long run of restaurants along the upper edge of the area.
