Volume is the point. If you are furnishing a rental, kitting out a market stall, sorting props for an event or replacing every mismatched dish in a kitchen at once, this is a very different exercise from walking a homeware aisle. If you want one nice vase and some advice about it, it is the wrong trip.
Vulcan Way sits in the Bridgeport industrial area north of Bridgeport Road, near the river and the bridges across to Vancouver. This is the part of the city where the supply side of everything happens, with importers, wholesalers, cold storage, and the businesses that stock the other businesses. Almost none of it is signposted for the public and the streets out there all look alike, so check the address properly before setting off.
Bring a vehicle you can actually load. Wholesale stock comes in cases, the useful savings only appear once you are buying several of something, and there is no version of this trip that ends well with a bicycle and a backpack. Give yourself time to look at what is on the racking rather than only at what you came for.
