Getting a whole family through the dentist in one trip is worth more than most people account for. Chatham Street runs a block back from the busier waterfront blocks, which puts the practice in the working part of the village rather than the visitor part. Parking pressure across Steveston is seasonal and worst through the summer, so a mid-afternoon appointment in July is a different proposition from the same slot in January.
Ask which treatments can be handled in a single sitting and which need a separate appointment. The answer varies a lot between practices and it is the difference between one trip and three, particularly for anything involving a specialist step. Dental care is one of the few services where being embedded in a neighborhood genuinely changes the experience, and continuity is what families end up valuing most. A dentist who has watched a set of teeth since childhood makes different decisions from one meeting them cold.
