Two questions are worth asking before you book anywhere, and neither one is about teeth. Ask whether the practice is taking new patients, because plenty in Richmond are not. Then ask what happens if something goes wrong outside appointment times, since that answer varies enormously between offices and matters far more than anything written on a website.
Blundell Centre, where this one sits, is among the last proper neighborhood malls left in the city. Low-rise, dated in a way that has aged into charm, and stocked with the practical tenants a suburb actually needs: grocery, pharmacy, a few restaurants, services. A general and cosmetic dental practice belongs in that lineup. Dentistry is an errand for most households rather than an outing, and errands cluster.
Blundell Road deserves a word of its own. It is one of Richmond's main east-west residential arteries, running from the dyke at the western end across to No. 5 Road, and the stretch around No. 2 is solidly single-family neighborhood. The drive is calmer than anything in the City Centre, and traffic around the intersection stays local rather than regional for most of the day.
That geography is the whole argument for using a practice on this side of the city. Working parents in Broadmoor, Seafair or the south end can reach No. 2 and Blundell without crossing the City Centre at all, and a short trip is what makes routine appointments actually happen instead of getting deferred another six months.
