About Sonic Health Clinic

Massage therapy, physiotherapy, acupuncture and homeopathy at a Willoughby clinic in Langley Township, with ICBC and WorkSafeBC direct billing.

Ear seeding and cupping sit on the service list beside the four disciplines that run out of Unit A320 at 20020 84 Avenue, in the Willoughby area of Langley Township: registered massage therapy, physiotherapy, acupuncture and homeopathy. This is a multidisciplinary health clinic rather than a physician's office, so treatment comes from registered massage therapists, a physiotherapist and an acupuncturist. A kinesiology and mobility restoration stream is flagged as coming soon, so it cannot be booked yet.

Techniques set out on the registered massage therapy page run to fascial work, joint mobilisations, deep tissue massage, hydrotherapy, manual therapy and corrective exercises, with homecare exercises carried between visits. Pregnancy massage is aimed at lower back and hip pain, swelling and sleep. Senior massage is directed at circulation, flexibility and joint pain from arthritis or limited mobility. A student option puts sessions in the hands of massage therapy students working under supervision, at a reduced rate. No doctor's referral is needed to book a massage.

Manual therapy, individual exercise prescription, homecare exercises and patient education make up the physiotherapy approach. ICBC and WorkSafeBC claims are direct-billed, and patients on those claims typically pay nothing upfront. Under ICBC Enhanced Care, a claim number rather than a doctor's referral is what you need to start physiotherapy treatment. Private and extended health insurance are accepted with direct billing and detailed receipts, and cancellations or reschedules require 24 hours' notice.

Acupuncture is handled by Harry Sidhu, who is listed with degrees in naturopathy and homeopathic medicine and over 35 years of experience in natural and traditional medicine. Sanjana Sikka is the physiotherapist named on the team page, working on neck and back pain, joint injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and motor vehicle and WorkSafeBC injuries. Among the massage therapists, Khalid Qasmi specializes in sports massage and works with soccer players and boxers, Colleen Tran uses myofascial release, manual lymph drainage and PNF stretching, Amrit Pal Singh concentrates on sciatica, disc bulges, frozen shoulder and whiplash, and Catalino Javier names pregnancy massage as a specialisation.

Conditions named across the site include tennis elbow, migraines, plantar fasciitis, hip pain, sciatica, arthritis, whiplash and chronic tension. Free underground parking serves the building, and the clinic belongs to the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce. Its own pages place the practice in Willoughby and describe the work as massage therapy and physiotherapy in Langley. Online booking runs through the Jane App system, and (778) 366-3477 is the number published for the clinic.

Where Locals Actually Eat in Richmond BC

Nothing on Alexandra Road is a secret. It is just in a strip mall with bad signage and no patio, which is why visitors never find it. Here is how I actually use Richmond's plazas and food courts, which specialists are worth the drive, and when not to bother.
