Brook Nullmeyer owns this residential painting company, which he runs from the SilverStar Foothills near Vernon after setting permanent roots there in January 2023. He learned the trade on the job, over summers spent painting as a kid, and the work is carried out by small crews of two to three painters.
Three generations sit behind the name, though not as one continuous company. Nullmeyer's grandfather started Nullmeyer Painting and Decorating in 1977, and his father followed with Keen and Kleen Student Painters in 1986 in Barrie, Ontario. The present business operates independently of both, so what carries forward is craft knowledge handed down a family rather than a company trading since 1977.
Five services are listed across the site. Exterior work, described on the exterior painting page, specializes in Hardie board and stucco, and the stated scope runs to Hardie plank, cedar, wood siding, decks, trim and full repaints. Interior jobs take in the preparation that precedes them: caulking, sanding and drywall repairs, protecting flooring and furniture, and managing dust in an occupied home. Stripping, sanding and repairing decks, siding and outdoor wood falls under wood restoration, and stain work stands as a service in its own right.
