An appointment you can reach on a lunch break is an appointment you will actually keep. City Centre Dental Clinic occupies the second floor of a building on Westminster Highway, minutes from Richmond City Hall and a short walk from the Canada Line, which puts it inside the working day for a large number of people rather than at the end of one.
The practice covers general dentistry: routine exams and hygiene, extractions with follow-up care, nightguards and whitening. Nightguards are worth pulling out of that list, because they are the thing people put off longest. Grinding wears enamel down slowly enough that you never notice until someone points it out, and the fix is unglamorous and cheap compared with what it prevents.
Westminster Highway through City Centre has changed character completely over two decades. What used to be low-rise offices and surface lots is now towers, podium retail and civic buildings, with the Canada Line running down No. 3 Road a couple of blocks west. Medical and dental practices have clustered into the upper floors of those buildings, which is convenient if you are already downtown and slightly awkward if you are not.
Ask how far out the hygiene schedule is running when you first make contact. Cleanings get booked further ahead than most people expect, and the answer decides whether to plan around this month or the one after. If you are looking for a long-term practice rather than a single visit, that same question tells you a great deal about how busy a clinic actually is.
