The store folds neatly into a Golden Village run: eat at Parker Place, buy the dog food, walk out with both, and skip the separate trip to a big-box store on the edge of the city. Independent pet shops have been squeezed hard by subscription delivery over the past decade, and the ones that survive tend to do it on exactly this kind of advice and convenience rather than on price.
