About BonAppawtite

Small independent pet supply store inside Parker Place mall carrying premium foods, treats and accessories for cats and dogs. Owner-run, open daily from late morning to early evening, and easy to fold into a Golden Village food run.

Bring the current bag with you, or at least a photo of the label, because that is what makes a proper comparison possible. If you are switching a dog off supermarket kibble, or working around a cat with a protein sensitivity, someone who knows their own inventory beats reading ingredient panels in a big-box aisle at nine at night. BonAppawtite is a small independent shop inside Parker Place carrying premium foods, treats and accessories for cats and dogs, and the advice across the counter is worth more than the shelf.

Parker Place is an unusual home for it. The mall is mostly food court, Chinese groceries and small retail on No. 3 Road, and a pet supply store inside it is not what anyone expects, which means people who could use it walk straight past.

Being indoors carries a practical upside. You are shopping under cover, and in a Richmond November that is not nothing, particularly if you are carrying a fifteen kilogram bag back to the car. The store folds neatly into a Golden Village run: eat at Parker Place, buy the dog food, walk out with both, and skip the separate trip to a big-box store on the edge of the city. Independent pet shops have been squeezed hard by subscription delivery over the past decade, and the ones that survive tend to do it on exactly this kind of advice and convenience rather than on price.

Where Locals Actually Eat in Richmond BC

Nothing on Alexandra Road is a secret. It is just in a strip mall with bad signage and no patio, which is why visitors never find it. Here is how I actually use Richmond's plazas and food courts, which specialists are worth the drive, and when not to bother.
