HK B.B.Q Master is a small operation tucked into the Superstore plaza on No. 3 Road, which is not where anybody expects to find one of the most respected roast meat shops in the region. The queue moves fast, the space is tight, and nobody is lingering. It sells out early, and that is the single most important line on this page. Treat lunch as a deadline rather than a target.
There is something worth respecting in a kitchen that holds a standard on volume, which is exactly what a roast meat counter has to do: the same product, all day, at speed, with nowhere to hide a bad batch. Most operations drift by mid-afternoon. Finding the shop is straightforward once you know the plaza and considerably less so if you do not, so allow a few minutes on a first visit rather than assuming it will announce itself from the road. Come early, come hungry, and order more than you planned to.
