Cleaning Services
Richmond restoration contractor on Mayfield Place dealing with fire and flood damage, environmental remediation and the heavy cleanup that follows. It also runs its own moving, storage and cabinet divisions so contents can be handled during a claim.
Photograph everything before a single item moves. That is the first piece of practical advice anyone facing a fire or flood claim should hear, and it costs nothing. Platinum Pro-Claim is a restoration contractor on Mayfield Place handling fire and flood damage, environmental remediation and the heavy cleanup that follows either one.
Water is the thing that gets into buildings in this city. A burst line upstairs, a backed-up drain in a January storm, a fire that pushes smoke through three floors: those are the calls a restoration contractor takes, and a low city sitting behind a ring of dykes generates a lot of them.
The structure of the business is the interesting part. It runs its own moving, storage and cabinet divisions, which means contents can be packed out, held and brought back by one company during a claim rather than coordinated across three vendors while you are living somewhere else. Anyone who has been through this understands why that is worth something. The cleaning is rarely the hard part. The logistics are.
Mayfield Place sits in East Richmond among the light industrial units near the Knight Street connections, which is where an operation like this belongs: yard space, truck access, warehouse room for other people's furniture. It is not somewhere you visit. Be clear from the first day about who is instructing the contractor, you or your insurer, because that shapes the whole job.
