These are the stores that matter at eleven at night, and outside the centre Richmond's are spread thin. City Centre has them at the base of the towers and near each Canada Line station. Steveston keeps a handful behind the village. On Sea Island, the airport hotels and Burkeville hold the only options for a considerable distance, and shift workers depend on them.
Out along the farm roads of East Richmond and toward Hamilton the gaps between stores get long, which is exactly when a posted closing time is worth checking. Many also handle lottery, transit fare, phone top-ups and courier drop-offs. Every listing names the neighbourhood, so you can find the one that is genuinely near you.
A small independent shop on Minoru Boulevard in the city centre, handy for snacks, drinks and last-minute items, and used by neighbours as a parcel drop-off point. Prices are not always posted, so it is worth asking before you reach the till.
