Head spa treatments are what CuE is known for locally, and the term deserves explaining if you have never had one. The Japanese version is a long scalp service built around cleansing, massage and water work, sold as care rather than as grooming, and it usually gets combined with a cut or a color. Straightening packages sit alongside the standard cut and color list for anyone wanting the whole thing done in one sitting.
The wider point is that Japanese and Korean salons work to a different service model than a Western chain: slower, more consultation, more washing, and priced to match the time it takes. Anyone used to walking in somewhere and leaving thirty minutes later will find this is not that. The mismatch is the most common reason people come away unhappy with a salon in this style, and it is entirely avoidable by asking what a booking actually includes.
The setting explains some of the positioning. Capstan Way was low-rise and light-industrial within living memory, and it has filled in with towers whose ground-floor retail is still working out what it wants to be. Those buildings brought in exactly the residents who will sit for a long appointment instead of a fifteen-minute trim. Richmond now supports a real cluster of salons on that model across City Centre and the Golden Village, enough that the category carries its own expectations. Allow more time than you think you need, and the whole thing makes far more sense.
