Summer is the complication. Bayview and Moncton fill with visitors from late morning through the afternoon on any decent weekend, and parking in the village becomes a competitive sport by noon. For a weekend class in July or August, leaving earlier than seems necessary is the difference between arriving settled and arriving flustered. Parking further out and walking in is what most regulars end up doing anyway.
Steveston is a good place to practise anything slow. The village is quieter than the rest of Richmond, the light off the water is genuinely different, and the dyke trail starts close enough that you can walk out after a class and keep going for an hour if the mood takes you.
Gentle formats like sound bath tend to run less often than standard classes at studios of this kind, and small studios adjust their timetables with the seasons. A schedule built this way is aimed at people who want to leave calmer than they arrived, which is a different proposition from a heated room full of mirrors.
