Richmond has more hotel rooms than most cities its size, and the reason is a runway. Sea Island and the Bridgeport corridor hold the airport cluster: properties running shuttles, early breakfast service and day rooms for crew and connecting passengers, minutes from YVR and one Canada Line stop from the terminal.
The second cluster is City Centre, where the hotels serve business travellers, the Olympic Oval event calendar and shoppers working the No. 3 Road corridor, with Richmond-Brighouse and Lansdowne stations at the door. A third, much smaller group sits near Steveston for weekend visitors doing the village, the cannery and the dyke trails. Listings note parking, shuttle service and the neighbourhood.
