About Fade Me Barbershop

Modern barbershop just south of Richmond Centre on No. 3 Road, geared to fades, tapers and beard work. Booking is done online rather than by phone tag, which is the main reason younger clients keep going back here.

Booking happens online here, which is most of the reason the chairs fill with a younger crowd. You pick a slot at eleven at night, you get a confirmation, and nobody has to call anybody back three times. That small friction, once removed, turns out to matter a great deal.

Fade Me works in skin fades, tapers and beard shaping, and that is a specific craft rather than a general one. Richmond has plenty of places that will cut your hair. Rather fewer are set up for clipper work at the level this style demands, where the gap between a good fade and a bad one is visible from across a room for the next three weeks. The shop is on No. 3 Road just south of Richmond Centre, in the run of ground-floor units heading down towards Granville.

Illustrative only. This is not a photograph of Fade Me Barbershop or its premises.

This end of the corridor is easier going than the Golden Village stretch. Brighouse station is close and the street is less of a scrum. Barbershops of this type run on repeat appointments at two to four week intervals, so once you find a barber whose work you like, rebook before leaving rather than starting the whole search again each time. Bring a photo if you want something specific. It makes for a far faster conversation than trying to describe a fade in words, which nobody has ever managed on the first attempt.

Where Locals Actually Eat in Richmond BC

Nothing on Alexandra Road is a secret. It is just in a strip mall with bad signage and no patio, which is why visitors never find it. Here is how I actually use Richmond's plazas and food courts, which specialists are worth the drive, and when not to bother.
