Richmond Hospital on Westminster Highway is the centre of the city's health map, and the medical and dental offices thin out from there: clustered first in the towers and professional floors of City Centre, then spread through the neighbourhood centres at Blundell, Ironwood, Seafair and Steveston.
Two things make searching here different from a generic directory. The first is language: a large share of Richmond practices offer service in Cantonese, Mandarin or both, and for many residents that decides the choice. The second is access. This section covers family doctors, dentists, optometrists, pharmacies and veterinarians, and whether a practice takes new patients or walk-ins matters more than its address.
